Project Scope and Bio:

Hometown was awarded the contract for mechanical work on the Scott County Courthouse remodel in Davenport, IA. The project consisted of three phases, all to be completed while the building was occupied and fully functional. Hometown’s scope of work for the project included:

  • Renovation of men’s and women’s first floor bathroom area
  • Renovation of existing hydronic system including new steam to hot water exchanger, chiller, pumps, and VAV boxes
  • Removal and replacement of existing hot and chilled water piping
  • Removal and replacement of existing air handling units
  • Addition of three new mechanical rooms equipped with air handling units
  • Removal of old and installation of new ductwork
  • New control systems and wiring for HVAC equipment
