Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa Camp Liberty Lodge

Hometown Plumbing & Heating was hired to provide a complete plumbing package for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois 16,400 sq. ft. Camp Liberty Lodge. This was a uniquely challenging project, with Hometown proudly providing the following:
- Complete plumbing installation for three new bunk houses
- Each bunk house was equipped with two restrooms and a residential kitchen
- Complete plumbing installation for the assembly hall, which included five restrooms, a full-size commercial kitchen, and a janitor’s room

"Hometown Plumbing & Heating was part of the Design-Build team for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois Camp Liberty Lodge. Hometown was involved from the beginning of the planning stages and assisted with design decisions regarding the type and location of the fire sprinkler water storage tank and location of the new water well. They also worked collaboratively with the entire team to provide value engineering/cost reduction ideas for the project. The dedication of the planning group and the steady, timeliness of Hometown’s construction team resulted in a facility that will serve the Girl Scouts for generations to come.”
