Project Scope and Bio:
Hometown Plumbing & Heating was hired as general contractor to replace water main piping on Brady Street in Davenport, Iowa. The scope of work included:
- 2,670 linear feet of water main piping removal and replacement
- Installation of seven 6″ valves
- Street removal and replacement
- Traffic control measures to ensure pedestrian and worker safety
- Contamination control including hydrostatic testing, flushing and cleaning, disinfection, and water quality testing
