Project Scope and Bio:

Hometown Plumbing & Heating was hired as prime contractor for the Tipton High School boiler and unit ventilator replacement project. The scope of work included:

  • Removal of two existing steam boilers and associated piping
  • Installation of three new steam boilers, header piping, and condensate receivers
  • Removal and replacement of eight unit ventilators with supply and outdoor air ducts
  • Removal and replacement of acoustical ceiling tiles in lunch room and library
  • Modification of existing electrical and control systems
