Client: QC Waterfront Convention Center | Bettendorf, IA
Back to Projects
The QC Waterfront Convention Center, originally called the Bettendorf Event Center, was a first of its kind facility built in the Metro-Quad City area. With a full-service kitchen, stage and approximately 50,000 square feet of convention space, the facility is capable of supporting events from concerts to formal banquets.
Hometown Plumbing & Heating held the prime Mechanical Contract to the Owner and provided management and manpower to install the full scope from underfloor sanitary piping to drains installed on the roof. One of the major challenges on the project was the shallow depth of bedrock in the area which made installation of underfloor utilities more difficult than normal conditions.
