Project Scope and Bio:

Installation of Kohler 200kW / 300 Amp diesel generator

  • Kohler Co. generator to be used for emergency power to operate third floor IT and HVAC equipment
  • Sound enclosure with internal silencer
  • Design and installation of frost footings and structural steel frame with a 4’ wide service cat walk and hand rail
  • Electrical piping, wiring, and switch gear required to connect to building electrical panels
  • Generator startup and commissioning
  • Structural and electrical drawing required for city permits

Replacement of (1) 30-ton and (2) 50-ton packaged rooftop HVAC units

  • Demolition and removal of (3) existing rooftop units
  • Installation of (3) new commercial rooftop air conditioning units with natural gas heating, hot gas bypass, and economizer
  • Disconnect / reconnect of electrical power and control wiring
  • Installation of new Trane Building Automation Control system to front end DDC
  • Natural gas piping system to roof for RTU equipment
  • Coordination for new high pressure natural gas service with Alliant Energy from exterior gas main to roof through all floors of the building
  • Removal and replacement of concrete in parking lot, which was phased to provide continuous access to the bank for customers and employees

Repair of existing and installation of new Liebert IT cooling units

  • Replaced existing R22 condensing unit with new Liebert air cooled condensing unit
  • Installed refrigerant dryers, recovered and disposed of existing unit refrigerant
  • Reconnected electrical and control wiring
  • Installed new Liebert PDX air cooled system with indoor and outdoor units
  • Units were craned up to the roof while building was unoccupied

Demo and replacement of 74 VAV boxes

  • Removed and disposed of (74) existing VAV and FVAV boxes located above the ceilings on all floors
  • Furnished and installed (74) VAV and FVAV boxes above the ceilings on all floors
  • Disconnected / reconnected electrical power and control wiring
  • Reconfigured duct work
  • Installed new thermostats
  • Air balanced entire system after VAV and FVAV installation
